I look forward to The 4th of July every year. I have been going to Boise for the 4th ever since I started dating Ben. It's become one of my favorite traditions. There's just something about Boise in the summer time. It's so beautiful, green, HOT, and stays light outside until almost 10pm! The sunsets are unreal and I love going to the usual places Ben has introduced me to over the years. Since Ben's family is scattered all over, we usually get to see some if not all of the family when we go! This time the whole crew came! There was a total of 17 people under one roof. My Mother-in law is quite the host being able to tackle that. Her and Mitch do so much for us while we're there and they always go above and beyond to make sure everyone is fed and having fun.
We of course all had our usual "White Trash" Wal-Mart shirts on for the day of the 4th(a tradition Ben is VERY proud of for starting...I'm actual proud of him too, it's a good tradition). We had an awesome trip. We went boating, out to movies, went swimming, did some BBQ-ing, ate a lot of good food, had a nice fire out back to roast mallows, went to the river a few times and of course, watched the fireworks overlooking all of Boise. Our nieces and nephews kept us entertained the whole trip and I just love them all. I can't wait until we can have one of our own to add to the bunch!
Hopefully we will get to see everyone again next year! Miss you guys already!
