Time to catch up...

Let'see...my last post was in November, what has happened since then? Too much to write about! How about I just post a bunch of pictures and be done :) Ha! We had thanksgiving at my parents house in Murrieta which feels like forever ago, but we had a great time and I love when my whole family gets together. My brother Tyler got home in December and it has been a blast having him back. Our family is finally complete again! It's been fun getting to hang out with him again and having one of my best friends close by :)
Christmas was in Boise with Ben's family and everyone was there. It was so fun.  I got the greatest present of all time from Ben, a new digital camera that I'm obsessed with and he may be regretting it now with all the pictures I take! I'm having fun learning how to use it and hopefully will become a better photographer. Ben's parents always go above and beyond in making Christmas memorable. I'm thankful to have such wonderful in-laws and I appreciate everything they do for Ben and I.
Now for 2013...I started a new job with a company called Nebo. It's an at home sales job and I'm trying my best! It's been tough but I keep trying to focus on the pro's rather then the anxiety that sales gives me! It's a really great company and the sales reps are all women, most of whom are stay at home moms. Their website is nebotools.com if your curious. I basically sell flashlights to retail businesses. I would have never thought in a million years I'd be doing this!
Ben has been working his butt off at Burger Construction. They recently had two project managers quit so Ben has taken on a lot of jobs and works really long days. I admire his hard work so much. The nice part though, is that his boss is awesome. This is the best company he has worked for and his boss really shows his appreciation for his employees. This past weekend we got to stay in Laguna Beach at the Surf n Sand Resort thanks to some "hook-ups" within the company and it was all on the company card! Partayyyy!!! I was in Heaven. I basically love Ben's boss and I'm glad that Ben is happy with the company even with how stressful it's been the past couple months. It was so nice to get away from the stress and routine of work.
Ben is still the 11 year old Scout leader for church and I teach the 4 years old in Primary now. I thought that 7 year olds had a short attention span, boy was I in for a surprise :) They are so adorable and it's fun listening to the hilarious things they say.
At the beginning of this month my cousin Nikki got married and I got to do her wedding flowers! It was so fun and went pretty smoothly for my first time. The wedding was in San Luis Obispo and my whole family was able to go which was awesome!
My new favorite spot is the roof top balcony at Ben's office. It has a view of the ocean and is complete with heaters and a bunch of patio furniture. We had a fun BBQ up there a couple weeks ago with some of my family and friends.
I also got a new beach cruiser for Valentines Day and I'm so excited! We went for a ride last Saturday and i'm can't for summertime and bike rides! Let the good times roll and help get my mind off of my job! :)
Oh and one more thing! I'm still not pregnant, but I'm hoping that this is the year! Keep us in your prayers as we start to dish out a lot of moolah that will hopefully help it happen :)
And of course, here's a bunch of pictures...

  2. I agree with Paige... you should go into business. Those flowers are gorgeous and I don't think there is anything you can't do or you'll figure it out! You are in my prayers and hope you can get pregnant soon. I've decided patience is something I need to learn because it feels like what i want and even think I need never happens when I think it should. What fun activities to keep you busy though! Hope we can see you guys this summer.

    1. Amen Jenni! I've realized that too. Nothing ever happens the way we plan, but His ways definitely are higher than our ways, so I just trust in that :) And it is great to enjoy life with just the two of us for now! Hope to see you this summer too! Should be a fun reunion :)
